Bolt announced that it is temporarily suspending deliveries carried out using two-wheeled vehicles through the Bolt Food platform today from 12:00 to 16:00, citing the need to protect the health and safety of its delivery partners.
The company said the measure is being implemented in compliance with emergency directives and guidance issued by the relevant authorities amid exceptionally high temperatures.
Deliveries will continue using cars, although Bolt warned that customers may experience longer delivery times as a result.
According to the company, the decision follows the issuance of an orange weather warning by the Meteorological Department and related instructions from state authorities aimed at limiting outdoor work during the hours when extreme temperatures are expected.
