The first edition of Ecoscapes reaches its conclusion this week with a public symposium that invites audiences to step directly into an evolving conversation about climate, ecology and Mediterranean futures. Hosted at Gardens of the Future in Nicosia, the event forms the culmination of the 2025 residency programme, bringing together artists, curators and thinkers who have been developing work across the city during the past months.

Across the afternoon, visitors will be guided through a series of roaming presentations, activations and open discussions. The format encourages movement, observation and exchange, creating an environment where research processes are shared rather than presented from a distance. The symposium aims to open new pathways for understanding the region through climate realities, cultural memory and questions of justice.

The programme features contributions from:

Evagoras Vanezis, Curator

Evagoria (Eria) Dapola, Curator

Elena Adamou, Artist

Eleftheria Tzirki, Artist

Harun Morrison, Artist and Writer

Alessandro Vincentelli, Independent Curator

The evening will open with remarks by Argyro Toumazou, Director of D6:EU, and Halime Özdemir di Larusso, Producer and Artistic Director of Magnus Tempus 360°.

Ecoscapes 2025 is produced by D6:EU in collaboration with Magnus Tempus 360 and supported by the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture and Producer 360.
