Woman Found Dead in Bathroom of Her Home in Paralimni

Police say all possibilities remain open as investigations continue

A 49-year-old Ukrainian woman, resident of Cyprus was discovered dead in the bathtub of her home in Paralimni. Bloodstains were found at the property, and the area has been sealed off while a medical examiner attends the scene.

Emergency services were alerted after reports that the woman had been found unresponsive in the bathroom of her home. Officers who arrived at the scene confirmed that she was already deceased. According to information from the authorities, the woman had been residing in Paralimni for several years. Bloodstains were located inside the property, prompting police to treat the circumstances as suspicious until further examinations are complete.

The house has been cordoned off so that forensic teams can carry out detailed checks, and a medical examiner is expected to conduct an initial assessment before a post-mortem. Police have said it is too early to draw conclusions and that every possibility remains under consideration as the investigation proceeds.
