The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health announced on Friday that it had been informed of the killing of Fadi Zeidan Owais, stating that the teenager was “fatally shot by Israeli forces at dawn in the Nablus district.”
It added that the body had not been handed over to the Authority.
The Israeli army told AFP that during a counter‑terrorism operation in the area it had “neutralised a masked terrorist who had thrown stones at Israeli vehicles on a main road, putting lives at risk.”
According to figures based on data from the Palestinian Health Ministry, Israeli forces or settlers have killed at least 1,072 Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of the war.
Official Israeli data show that at least 46 Israelis have been killed in Palestinian attacks or during Israeli military operations in the same period.
