The Israeli army on Friday called on residents of five villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately, ahead of expected strikes against Hezbollah, despite the ceasefire.
“Due to Hezbollah’s violation of the ceasefire agreement, the army is obliged to act against it decisively,” Arabic‑language army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said in a post on X, listing five villages near the coastal city of Tyre.

“For your safety, you must leave your homes immediately and stay at least 1,000 metres away from villages and towns,” he added.
