At Least Six Killed in Israeli Strikes on Gaza

Israeli strikes continue in Gaza despite the ceasefire, with civilian casualties reported in Gaza City and near Khan Younis.

At least six people were killed and several others injured as a result of Israeli strikes yesterday in the Gaza Strip, Agence France-Presse reported, citing information from the Civil Defence service and hospitals in the Palestinian enclave.

Hamas leader’s son injured

Azam Khalil al‑Haya, the son of a senior Hamas figure, was injured in one of the Israeli attacks in Gaza City, a security services source told AFP.

Gaza City and Khan Younis hit

Health officials told AFP that five people were killed in two Israeli strikes in Gaza City. One more person was killed and 15 injured near Khan Younis, according to Nasser Hospital. A security source in Gaza clarified that the man killed near Khan Younis was an officer of Hamas’s police force.

Strikes continue despite ceasefire

Despite the ceasefire agreed in October 2025, Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip have not stopped. At least 837 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire came into effect, according to Gaza’s Hamas‑run Health Ministry. On the Israeli side, five soldiers have been killed in Gaza during the same period.
