Changeable Skies and Rising Winds as Unsettled Weather Persists

A weak low‑pressure system is affecting the area.

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy, with isolated showers possible, mainly over mountainous areas and the south‑east. Winds will be mainly south‑westerly to north‑westerly, moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort and at times very strong, reaching 5 to 6 Beaufort.

The sea will be slight to moderate and locally moderate on windward coasts.

Temperatures will rise to around 27°C inland and along the south and east coasts, about 23°C on the west and north coasts, and 17°C in the higher mountains.

Tonight, conditions will be mostly clear, although increased low cloud will be observed locally. Winds will be mainly north‑westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort and initially up to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, in windward areas.

The sea will remain slight to moderate.

Temperatures will drop to around 13°C inland, about 16°C along the coasts and 7°C in the higher mountains.

Outlook

On Saturday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with a chance of isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.

On Sunday and Monday, conditions will be mostly clear, although periods of increased high cloud are expected. Dust will be present in the atmosphere.

Temperatures will rise on Saturday to near seasonal averages, while no significant change is expected on Sunday and Monday.
