A weak low‑pressure system is affecting the area.
Today, there will be periods of increased mid‑level and high cloud, which may produce isolated light showers. Dust will remain suspended in the atmosphere. Winds will blow mainly from the south to south‑west, initially light to moderate at 3–4 Beaufort, gradually strengthening locally to strong at 4–5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight. Temperatures will rise to around 31°C inland, about 25°C along the west coast, around 27°C along the remaining coastal areas, and approximately 21°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear, although periods of increased low cloud are expected at times. Locally, mainly during the early morning hours, thin mist or fog may form. Winds will blow mainly south‑west to north‑west, light to moderate at 3–4 Beaufort and at times locally along the coasts up to strong, 4–5 Beaufort. The sea will remain slight. Temperatures will drop to around 14°C inland, about 16°C along the coasts and around 9°C in the higher mountains.
On Friday and over the weekend, the weather will be partly cloudy, while there is a possibility of isolated light showers on Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures on Friday are expected to fall slightly, dipping just below average climatological values, before rising again over the weekend.
