The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) is actively taking part in the business mission to India, organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the leadership of President Nikos Christodoulides, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the technology ecosystems of Cyprus and India.
In his remarks, CITEA President Giorgos Malekkos stressed that Cyprus is not in India to outsource services, but to gain access to expertise in artificial intelligence and transfer that knowledge to the members of Cyprus’ technology ecosystem.
CITEA represents more than 100 technology companies in Cyprus and is seeking to build strategic partnerships in AI, software engineering, cloud services and high-tech innovation.
“India has enormous experience and expertise in AI and technology. We are here to build bridges of knowledge and cooperation that will bring real value to our members and to Cyprus’ technology ecosystem,” Malekkos said.
According to the announcement, CITEA’s participation in the mission underlines the association’s commitment to strengthening the international outreach of its members and creating new partnerships focused on AI and innovation.
