President Nikos Christodoulides will address the Cyprus–India Business Forum in Mumbai on Thursday, as part of his official State Visit to India, which began on Wednesday.
The programme also includes meetings with Indian business leaders and investors.
As part of his engagements in the city, which is considered India’s financial hub, President Christodoulides will attend the inauguration of Eurobank’s representative offices and will visit the National Stock Exchange of India.

According to the Government Spokesperson, the aim of the President’s contacts is to further strengthen relations between Cyprus and India in sectors including the economy, investment, shipping, technology and innovation.
In a post on X on Wednesday, the Spokesperson noted that Cyprus is promoting its role as a reliable European gateway for Indian businesses and as a stable partner in a region of growing geo‑economic importance.
Following the completion of his programme in Mumbai, President Christodoulides will travel to New Delhi, where on Friday he is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister of India and later the President of India, who will host an official dinner in his honour.
