The British Bases have announced that controlled explosions will take place in the Akrotiri Bases area between 18 and 20 May.
According to a statement, small‑scale blasts are expected on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 09:00 and 17:00 as part of routine activities.
The Bases stressed that there is no cause for concern if the public hears explosion sounds during these days and hours, and thanked residents for their understanding.
