The Cyprus Stock Exchange closed lower on Thursday, with the General Index ending the session at 288.87 points, recording losses of 0.75%.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 173.55 points, down 0.36%. Total transaction value stood at €296,543.31.
Among the individual market indices, the Main Market fell by 0.85%, while the Alternative Market declined by 0.21%. Investment Companies and Hotels remained unchanged.
The highest trading interest was recorded in Bank of Cyprus shares, with €224,201.59 in transactions. The share closed at €9.40, down 0.69%.
Demetra Holdings followed with €14,882.50 in transactions, closing unchanged at €1.55. Logicom recorded €13,196 in transactions, closing at €3.08, down 0.65%.
Louis PLC attracted €11,741.63 in trading, closing at €0.112, up 5.66%, while Pandora Investments recorded €8,778 in transactions and closed at €0.224, down 2.61%.
Of the shares traded, six moved higher, seven fell and one remained unchanged. The number of transactions stood at 106.
