How the accident happened
According to information currently under examination, a jet ski, driven by a 17-year-old with an 18-year-old passenger, collided under circumstances still being investigated with a towed inflatable "banana" or "couch"-type device carrying five people: two men, aged 48 and 43, and three minor children, aged 7, 11 and 13.

A 7-year-old girl sustained a skull fracture in the collision and was rushed to Makarios Hospital, where she remains hospitalised. Her condition is described as out of danger.
The 48-year-old suffered a pelvic fracture and was admitted for treatment at Famagusta General Hospital.

What happened
According to initial information, under circumstances that remain unclear at this stage, a jet ski being driven by a 17-year-old collided with an inflatable water toy.
Those injured
The collision left a 48-year-old man and a 7-year-old child injured. The child was taken to Makarios Hospital.
