María Ángela Holguín, the personal envoy of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, will meet Raffaele Fitto in Brussels on Wednesday at 2pm local time.
Fitto, who serves as the European Commission's Executive Vice-President for Cohesion and Reforms, recently assumed the additional role of the European Union's Special Representative for the Cyprus issue.
The meeting was confirmed to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA) by the European Commission on Monday morning.
No further details have been announced regarding any additional meetings Holguín may hold during her visit to the Belgian capital.
